Communication with your client manager is essential to keeping your business functioning in an environment that seems to be changing each day.

We want to respect all health and safety protocols that our clients have already or are planning to implement. We are providing onsite services to clients, unless asked not to. Our technicians have been instructed to follow the CDC protocols recommended for the workplace, https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/guidance-business-response.html.

Planning for a Possible COVID-19 Outbreak in the US (CDC website, March 13, 2020) The severity of illness or how many people will fall ill from COVID-19 is unknown at this time. If there is evidence of a COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S., employers should plan to be able to respond in a flexible way to varying levels of severity and be prepared to refine their business response plans as needed. For the general American public, such as workers in non-healthcare settings and where it is unlikely that work tasks create an increased risk of exposures to COVID-19, the immediate health risk from COVID-19 is considered low. The CDC and its partners will continue to monitor national and international data on the severity of illness caused by COVID-19, will disseminate the results of these ongoing surveillance assessments, and will make additional recommendations as needed.

Many organizations are looking to reduce in-person meetings and some have employees working from home. We can assist to develop a plan and provide the various systems and training for employees to access resources remotely and maintain communication with other employees, vendors, and clients. The situation at hand requires accelerated implementation. We have already worked with clients to implement solutions that typically take weeks in just a few days.

We have seen a drastic change in the supply chain in the last week and don’t expect that to return to normal for some time. We will do our best to acquire any needed hardware and look for alternatives when items are not available. We will be calling on our distributors that we have long-standing relationships with to assist in emergencies. We have spoken with a few clients to see if they would be interested in selling their spare equipment that could serve the needs of other clients temporarily.

In the weeks ahead, we know that you will need RCS to support you and your business, and we will be there. Thank you for trusting us with your IT services, and please reach out to your client manager with any questions. We remain fully committed to supporting you and your company through these challenging times. We will share periodic updates as the situation continues to unfold.
